Domingo “Mingo” Rodriguez Jr. is a proud Maverick County native who believes local government should work for the people it serves. Raised with strong family values and a deep respect for hard work, Mingo understands the challenges and opportunities facing our community because he has lived them.

For the past seven years, Mingo has served as Judge of the Justice of the Peace court for Precinct 3-1, a court widely known in the community as “The People’s Court.” In this role, he has worked directly with residents to ensure fairness, accessibility, and respect for everyone who comes before the court.

Throughout his career, Mingo has been committed to public service, accountability, and bringing people together to solve problems. He believes leadership is about listening, making fair decisions, and ensuring county resources are managed responsibly and transparently.

Mingo is running for Maverick County Judge to strengthen trust in county government, improve infrastructure and services, and promote responsible economic growth that benefits local families and businesses. He is committed to working with residents, county employees, and community leaders to build a Maverick County that is fair, efficient, and prepared for the future.
